How to become a member

When you join VPMPCS, you’ll enjoy the benefits of belonging to a community based Co-operative Society that values you and your needs.

Membership is open to every honest Mauritian, regardless of sex, class, creed or political beliefs.
All you have to do is to be recommended by 2 existing members of the society.

  1. First, one must be referred by two existing members
  2. Meeting arranged with the Manager for detailed information about the society
  3. The following  documents must be submitted
    • Identity card
    • Proof of address (recent utility bills)
    • Medical certificate
    • Recent payslip
    • 2 photos
    • Rs 2500 representing (Entrance fee Rs 500  + Share Rs 1,000 + Solidarity fund Rs 1,000)

Once all these documents are produced and payment duly made,  you just have to make the regular contribution to become a fully-fledged member
